Scooter McCray was a 6-9 power forward out of Louisville who played three seasons in the NBA with Seattle and Cleveland.


Drafted with the 36th pick in the 1983 NBA Draft by Seattle, McCray had career averages of 2.9ppg, 2.5rpg and 1apg during his time in the league.


McCray had an impressive career at collegiate level with Louisville, being a part of the 1980 NCAA Championship team, while averaging 7.6ppg and 5.5rpg over his five-year tenure there.


The older brother of fellow NBA player Rodney McCray, Scooter's best game came against Portland in 1984, where he totaled 13 points, seven rebounds, two blocks, two steals and an assist.
