Norm Nixon was a 6-2 point guard out of Duquesne University who played 10 seasons in the NBA during the 1970's-80's for the Lakers and Clippers.
Drafted with the 22nd overall pick in the 1977 NBA Draft by the Lakers, Nixon averaged 15.7ppg, 8.3apg, 2.6rpg & 1.5spg across the course of his career, where he became a two-time NBA champion, two-time NBA All-Star, and a member of the All-Rookie first team.
His best game as a pro? How about his 35 points, 17 assists, 5 rebounds and 1 steal against Dallas while playing for the Clippers in 1983.
In college, Nixon averaged over 21ppg & 4rpg in his final two seasons at that level, and had his #10 guernsey retired by Duquesne University post-career.
