Jim Lampley was a 6-10 center who is one of a number of players to have played just the one solitary game of NBA basketball.
Drafted in the 5th round by Dallas in the 1983 NBA Draft, Lampley never stepped foot onto the court with the Mavericks, nor did he with Washington or Milwaukee, who he also signed with during his career.
He did however, play one game with the Philadelphia 76ers in 1986, where he notched a not too shabby three points and five rebounds in 16 minutes of action.
Lampley's college career was split between Vanderbilt and the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, giving him career collegiate figures of 11.6ppg and 5.9rpg, with his time at Arkansas proving to be the most fruitful, where he averaged around 15 points and 7 rebounds per game.
