Desmond Penigar was a 6-7 power forward out of Utah State University who played ten games with Orlando during the 2003-2004 NBA season.

Penigar went undrafted after a two-year collegiate career where he averaged 16 points and seven rebounds per game, and was named First-Team All Big West in 2002 & 2003.

Penigar averaged 3.2ppg and 2.4rpg in just under nine minutes of action a game with the Magic, before being released after his second 10-day contract.

While his NBA career was short, Penigar has had success in different leagues around the world, starting with being named the NBA Development League's Rookie of the Year in 2004, before playing in South Korea, Germany, Austria, Lebanon, Kuwait & Saudi Arabia.

He still plays today in the Lebanese Basketball League.
