Dave Lattin

Dave Lattin was a 6-6 power forward out of the University of Texas at El Paso who played two seasons in the NBA from 1967-1969.


Drafted with the 10th overall pick in the 1967 NBA Draft by the San Francisco Warriors, Lattin played a combined 112 NBA games with the Warriors and Phoenix Suns, for career averages of 4.5 points and 3.5 rebounds per game.


Lattin was inducted into the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame in 2007 for being a part of the first all-black starting five lineup in NCAA basketball, which resulted in a championship in 1966. He was also inducted into the Texas Black Sports Hall of Fame.


Lattin scored a career-high points mark of 20, twice during his career.
